Black Neo

Mr Noface said - "Will Smith was (originally) set to play the part of Neo..."
Would it have been the same movie ?
Would it have been as accepted as a classic Sci-Fi flick?
Would people have seen 'race' instead of focusing on the message?

Back when the actor playing Uhura on Star Trek wanted to quit the series, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. advised her to remain on the show.
Why?
Dr. King explained the importance of having a Black presence in the future to show that we made it too.
But to this day, their are still too few relevant Black "Super Heroes".
